CTET OMR sheet and answer key: how it works
After a CTET exam, CBSE has in past editions published candidates' OMR response sheets and a provisional answer key on the official portal, followed by a short window to challenge answers.
The usual sequence
- The exam is held (the 22nd edition is on 12 and 13 December 2026).
- CBSE publishes a provisional answer key and makes OMR response sheet images available to candidates on ctet.nic.in.
- Candidates can raise objections within the stated window. For the January 2021 edition, the window ran until 21 February.
- CBSE reviews objections, then publishes the final answer key and results.
Exact dates and fees for objections are set in each notice, so read the current one on the official site.
